RHU semester GPA and CGPA are computed by determining course quality points, adding total quality points and corresponding credit hours, then dividing total quality points by total credit hours. For semester GPA, each GPA-counted course is converted to quality points by multiplying grade points by credits. The semester GPA is the total quality points divided by total GPA-counted credits, then rounded with standard rounding to 2 decimal places. The updated CGPA combines the student's existing quality points with this semester's quality points, then rounds with standard rounding to 2 decimal places.
Pass/fail and non-GPA grades are handled from the Rafik Hariri University config: supported pass grades are excluded from GPA points. Repeat-course handling uses this rule: RHU states that the higher grade of a repeated course is used in GPA computations.
