Glasgow states GPA is the sum of course credits multiplied by grade points, divided by the sum of course credit weights, and expressed to one decimal place. For semester GPA, each GPA-counted course is converted to quality points by multiplying grade points by credits. The semester GPA is the total quality points divided by total GPA-counted credits, then rounded with standard rounding to 1 decimal places. The updated CGPA combines the student's existing quality points with this semester's quality points, then rounds with standard rounding to 1 decimal places.
Pass/fail and non-GPA grades are handled from the University of Glasgow config: supported pass grades are excluded from GPA points.
