UQ GPA is the sum of grade multiplied by course unit value divided by the sum of course unit values. For semester GPA, each GPA-counted course is converted to quality points by multiplying grade points by credits. The semester GPA is the total quality points divided by total GPA-counted credits, then rounded with standard rounding to 2 decimal places. The updated CGPA combines the student's existing quality points with this semester's quality points, then rounds with standard rounding to 2 decimal places.
Pass/fail and non-GPA grades are handled from the University of Queensland config: supported pass grades are excluded from GPA points. Repeat-course handling uses this rule: UQ's public grade/GPA page defines GPA weighting and non-graded outcomes but does not provide a universal repeated-course GPA replacement rule.
